Mirak-Weissbach Foundation Presented at Lepsius House
On November 18, 2015 numerous foundations from the region, large and small, came together in the Wiesbaden Kurhaus to present their work on the occasion oft he 6th Hessian Foundation Day.
The Mirak-Weissbach Foundation participated as part of the Wiesbaden Foundation Network (Stiftungsnetzwerk). This forum, the first of its kind for foundations, was established in 2013, and provides especially small foundations the opportunity to introduce their activities to the public. Three times a year the Network organizes gatherings, where representatives can exchange information and find answers to questions related to press work, administrative matters, fundraising, etc.
This year the Network published the first issue of the Foundation Guide (Stiftungsführer), in which almost 2,000 foundations are presented, among them the Mirak-Weissbach Foundation (page 87).
